Every number on our pages comes from a source that we link to at the bottom of the page: the US Forest Service and its geology guide to the monument, the 1978 proclamation, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, the Ketchikan Visitors Bureau, the Federal Aviation Administration, Travel Alaska, and the climate data from NOAA. Information on tours, that is duration, languages, inclusions, ratings and starting prices, is taken from the listings on Viator and GetYourGuide. If a source does not provide something, we do not write it.
